Balance is first and foremost a state of mind
«The Balance» is 2-hour workshop with Balance with Maja Božić that covers the first sequence (standing poses) of Ashtanga vinyasa yoga Primary series. Ashtanga Vinaysa is an powerful and meditative yoga practice.
In this workshop we will play with:
— breakdown of standing postures
— modifications and use of props to suit your body’s needs.
— following our breath and drishtis (focus points)
— using the energy locks (bandhas).
This practice is a personal search of balance in between flexibility and strength, kindness and austerity that can serve us on and off our yoga mat.
Be prepared to surrender to forward folds, to find the courage in warriors and to twist and balance your body and mind.
